Chester Cigar Shop

Popped over to my lovely Chester specialist cigar shop last week to remerchandising an ever larger range of Havanas in our walk in humidor. Good old Virgin trains, travelled First Class and counted 20 times being offered tea and being called “mate”…fabulous <lol>

Still no sign of the eagerly awaited H Upmann Magnum 50 and Hoyo Epicure especial although we are ever hopeful that they will be available later this week or early next week

Smoked both of these cigars at the launch last month and they show great promise. Sure to be as popular as the limited edition versions that they’re being recreated from.

Blending just gets better all the time from  Havana…making my job far easier:-)

I’m off to RTDA in Las Vegas at the end of the week for the biggest cigar trade show of the year and looking forward to meeting up with many old friends and hopefully some new friends too.

I’m still stuck on a daily rotation of Ramon and Bolivar Belicosos,Monte 2’s and Partagas 2’s…simply unbeatable.2007 production and every one a winner

Have a great week

Peaceful puffing

Seleccion Orchant Ramon Belicosos

I am very proud to finally have of my current favourite Havana in a very limited edition double banded “Seleccion Orchant” version.

These delightful English Market Selection Ramon Belicosos have factory code POS and date code Mar 07. They are perfect examples of brand, vitola and vintage.

They were hand selected by me at Hunters and Frankaus’ London humidor and believe me I have selected the crème de la crème.

Only 2 master cases (that’s 64 boxes in total….as I was born in 1964! ) have been exclusively double banded for me and I have numbered and signed each box. ( There will never be a “re-release” either. This is a one off I have commissioned that will not be repeated on this cigar.)

Now how beautiful do these cigars look?!…..at least as beautiful as they smoke.

My thanks to John Darnton and Simon Chase at Hunters and Frankau for all their help
